The 4th International Summer Academy of Pharmacy (ISAP)
The International Summer Academy of Pharmacy (ISAP) is jointly organized by two institutions, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) School of Pharmacy and Santa Clara University, School of Engineering with distinguished themes of traditional Chinese medicines and biotechnology & Medical Device, respectively.
The 2016 ISAP, aims at bioengineering and medical device, will be hosted at Santa Clara University (SCU) School of Engineering, California, USA. The 2016 ISAP invites academic professionals, industrial entrepreneurs and venture capitalists to introduce the latest biotechnology research, development of medical diagnostic and therapeutic devices, and practice of venture capitals. Students will be able to visit first-class colleges and universities such as Stanford University, UC Berkeley and explore the similarities and difference of pharmacy education between China and USA.

Housing
The ISAP will provide all participants with student housing. All student apartments include linen and meals.
Registration
All applicants are required to complete the application form, and submit it electronically. Registration for the ISAP is free. The SCU is anticipating to accept 30-40 students for the 2016 ISAP, half of them are expected to be international students.
Fees
The ISAP will charge program fees of 5000 RMB (or 800UD$), that include student housing, meals, lectures, workshops, and study tours. All students are expected to be responsible for their international or domestic travel expenses, such as air and/or train tickets, as well as medical and/or life insurances.
